Xbox is considering several options for Arkane Studios as it works to find a path forward for the developer rather than close it, according to Bloomberg. The report says Ubisoft and at least two other companies have submitted bids, though Xbox has not agreed to a sale with any potential buyer.
Bloomberg also reports that Xbox has considered selling Arkane to its management. A company spokesperson said Xbox is exploring its options ahead of a December deadline and declined to comment further.
The report says Arkane’s Marvel’s Blade is expected to be released within the next year or two. The project’s future could be affected if the studio closes, but no decision about Arkane has been announced.
