Xbox’s November 2026 Indie Selects highlight six games chosen by the ID@Xbox team, ranging from survival horror and medieval role-playing to puzzle-platforming and rhythm-based action. The monthly picks appear in the Indie Select Hub, available through the Xbox Store and Xbox.com/IndieSelects, where four themed spotlights rotate weekly.
The featured games are Silver Pines, Graveyard Keeper 2, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, Colorbound, Ratatan and Tenebris Somnia. Together, they offer contrasting takes on survival, exploration and combat, including games that pit players against zombies, monsters and other threats.
Silver Pines is a survival horror game built around exploration and backtracking. Its detective protagonist can photograph blocked routes and unsolved clues, pinning those images to the map for later. The game uses hand-drawn 2D scenes connected into an interconnected 3D environment, and its story is described as a 15-hour experience.
In Graveyard Keeper 2, players take on crafting, farming, building and other tasks in a medieval town overrun by zombies. The sequel retains the original game’s gameplay loop while adding an improved quest system, voiced story scenes and ways to automate parts of its many systems. The selection notes that newcomers can play without having experienced the first game.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 brings back Ultramarine Malum Caedo and introduces Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath, with each character offering distinct weapons and playstyles. Its branching campaign pairs fast-paced first-person shooting with retro-inspired visuals and a Warhammer setting.
Colorbound follows Anku, a young Aymara boy who sets out to reunite his late grandfather’s band. As he travels through forests, deserts and cities, he gathers colors and uses their different properties to affect objects and solve platforming puzzles. The game’s music features the zampoña, an instrument that Anku takes up on his journey.
Ratatan combines rhythm-based commands with side-scrolling combat and roguelike progression. Players lead an army through battles, gain random buffs and return between runs to Rataport, where they can unlock upgrades, craft weapons and expand their forces.
Tenebris Somnia mixes a retro-style 2D adventure with survival horror and live-action cutscenes. Players follow Julia, an indie filmmaker drawn into a dangerous alternate dimension while investigating nightmares involving her ex-boyfriend. The game combines puzzles and resource management with threats that require careful movement and planning.
Xbox says a December edition of Indie Selects is also on the way, marking the program’s first monthly collection for that month.
